The Role

Your job is to help banks, credit unions, and fintechs push the boundaries of innovation when onboarding their clients. In some institutions, you will help transform decades-old processes into industry-leading solutions, changing the way these communities access their products and services. On the other hand, many institutions will already be some of the world’s leading innovators and you’ll have the opportunity to help them solve problems and create new ways for clients to engage with financial institutions.

DocFox is a highly-configurable, customizable solution for financial services providers. This flexibility provides significant value to our clients as they are able to closely map DocFox to optimize their current processes, or create newly streamlined processes made possible by DocFox.

Our most successful implementations have included a combination of:

  1. carefully understanding how a client’s business works
  2. configuring DocFox to automate their manual process and 
  3. playing a consultative role to help guide them in best practice to improve their process.

DocFox is looking for a full-time sales engineer responsible for supporting in selling the DocFox solution and growing our client base. They would work alongside the Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams to identify the client’s needs and advise on customized solutions. Their role is to map out and articulate the features of the product best suited for the client and then manage the solution design.

This is an exciting role responsible for the following:

  • Becoming an expert in the DocFox product solution 
  • Collaborating with the sales team (during the sales process) to understand the client’s objectives & needs and to advise on the strategy for how DocFox should be implemented
  • Assisting to close sales where technical expertise may be required; including completing technical responses to RFPs and RFIs as needed
  • Preparing technical presentations & specific product demos to explain the DocFox product & communicate the value of DocFox’s solution to clients 
  • Autonomously designing & developing the appropriate solution that addresses all of the client’s objectives, while allowing for future scalability
  • Identifying areas for improvement and communicating these as well as possible solutions to leadership to help shape the evolution of our product
  • Training the sales team on the technical aspects of the company’s products and services
  • Managing several complex customer engagements simultaneously & creating lasting, mutually beneficial relationships
  • Representing DocFox in client-facing meetings by presenting to users and key stakeholders
  • Working closely & coordinating with ModusBox, DocFox’s integration partner

The Requirements

Must Haves

  • Experience in sales engineering or pre-sales
  • Passion for understanding technology
  • Familiarity with B2B SaaS systems
  • Experience working with APIs and proficiency with technologies such as Postman, SOAP UI etc.
  • High-level communication skills; must be dynamic in presenting ideas to clients and prospective clients from VP to C-level
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills & excellent problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a low data environment and GSD
  • Occasional business travel as needed
